Desde una emoci\u00f3n intuitiva, realiza un escrutinio de la dimensi\u00f3n metaf\u00edsica del ser humano desde una voz honda, que hace resonar en el lector los efectos de la vastedad del entorno y sus criaturas, as\u00ed como reminiscencias tel\u00faricas a trav\u00e9s de audaces im\u00e1genes po\u00e9ticas. A esas indagaciones ontol\u00f3gicas su particular mirada desde lo femenino a partir de su experiencia y sus propios descubrimientos. Sean en verso libre o en prosa, sus poemas dan cuenta de una versatilidad y genio, que la hizo destacarse como precursora del g\u00e9nero de la \u201cnovela l\u00edrica\u201d. \u201cPoeta abstracta y t\u00edmida\u201d, as\u00ed la llam\u00f3 Ludovico Silva en unos versos que le dedicar\u00eda en 1983, recalcando el car\u00e1cter filos\u00f3fico-metaf\u00edsico de su obra;&nbsp;Elizabeth Sch\u00f6n quiso otorgar de contenido humano a la poes\u00eda, al formular preguntas trascendentes y vincularlas. Los textos presentados en esta antolog\u00eda fueron seleccionados y corregidos por la autora para la edici\u00f3n de Monte \u00c1vila Editores publicada en 1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elizabeth Sch\u00f6n\u00a0<\/strong>Poeta, dramaturga y ensayista nacida en Caracas en 1921. Tras obtener su licenciatura en Filosof\u00eda, colabor\u00f3 con importantes publicaciones peri\u00f3dicas del pa\u00eds. Fue reconocida con el Premio Municipal de Poes\u00eda en 1971 y el Premio Nacional de Literatura en 1994. Varias de sus obras son:<em>\u00a0La gruta venidera<\/em>\u00a0(1953),\u00a0<em>Incesante aparecer<\/em>\u00a0(1977),\u00a0<em>Encendido esparcimiento<\/em>\u00a0(1981),\u00a0<em>Ropaje de ceniza<\/em>\u00a0(1993) y\u00a0<em>Luz oval<\/em>\u00a0(2006).
