El perro y la rana present\u00f3 en la 15.\u00aa Feria del Libro de Caracas la colecci\u00f3n Insurgencias hist\u00f3ricas y afroepistemolog\u00edas cimarronas, un conjunto de obras que buscan reivindicar las luchas hist\u00f3ricas y el pensamiento afrodescendiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La colecci\u00f3n se present\u00f3 en el evento literario, instalado en la Galer\u00eda de Arte Nacional (GAN), con la participaci\u00f3n del viceministro de Fomento para la Econom\u00eda Cultural y presidente del Centro Nacional del Libro (Cenal) y de El perro y la rana, Ra\u00fal Cazal; acompa\u00f1ado por el director Ejecutivo de esta editorial, Elis Labrador, y la escritora, investigadora de la cultura afrovenezolana y diputada de la Asamblea Nacional Casimira Monasterios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la actividad, el viceministro Cazal destac\u00f3 la importancia de esta colecci\u00f3n en la reconstrucci\u00f3n de una memoria hist\u00f3rica que ha sido invisibilizada durante siglos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subray\u00f3 el compromiso de El perro y la rana, adscrita al Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Cultura, con la difusi\u00f3n de textos en los movimientos afrodescendientes y su influencia en la construcci\u00f3n de nuestra identidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Monasterios, quien es oriunda de Curiepe, localidad fundada por negros cimarrones, destac\u00f3 c\u00f3mo estas obras no solo rescatan la historia desde una perspectiva afrodescendiente, sino que tambi\u00e9n proponen nuevas maneras de entender la realidad a trav\u00e9s de lo que denomin\u00f3 afroepistemolog\u00edas cimarronas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elis Labrador resalt\u00f3 que Insurgencias hist\u00f3ricas y afroepistemolog\u00edas cimarronas ofrece una perspectiva cr\u00edtica y profunda sobre la resistencia y la cultura de los pueblos afrodescendientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La colecci\u00f3n incluye Pa\u00eds mantuano. Ensayos de filosof\u00eda del cimarronaje en clave de historia insurgente, de Lilia Ana M\u00e1rquez Ugueto; \u00c1frica y afrodescendientes en las Am\u00e9ricas y el Caribe, de Jes\u00fas “Chucho” Garc\u00eda; tambi\u00e9n de este autor est\u00e1 Cimarronaje, afroepistemolog\u00eda y soberan\u00eda intelectual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo la integran los t\u00edtulos Cumbre, cumbe, cumbo, de Flor Alba Cabrera; La parter\u00eda afro, de Dionys Cecilia Rivas Armas e Ismenia de Lourdes Mercer\u00f3n; Barlovento de donde viene el viento, con textos de Luis Perdomo, Ibelice Nieves, Sixto Hern\u00e1ndez, Elsy Ch\u00e1vez, Aid\u00e9 Duarte, Ana Salazar y otros, compilados por Jes\u00fas “Chucho” Garc\u00eda y Luis Perdomo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igualmente forma parte de la colecci\u00f3n Afrodescendientes festejando entre dioses y esp\u00edritus, con textos de Bety Mendoza, C\u00e9sar Escalona, Karina Estra\u00f1o, Gladys Quiroga, Gladys Olbemej\u00edas y otros, compilados por Di\u00f3genes D\u00edaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estos t\u00edtulos y muchos m\u00e1s pueden hallarse en el estand de Librer\u00edas del Sur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
