Ram\u00f3n Palomares, naci\u00f3 en Escuque, estado Trujillo, el 07 de mayo de 1935. Fue un irreverente poeta y respetado profesor universitario, que siempre involucr\u00f3 a sus afectos en sus letras. Palomares adem\u00e1s de sus hermanos, cont\u00f3 con la presencia de dos madres una biol\u00f3gica y otra adoptiva. <\/span><\/p>\n

Autor de, entre otras obras, <\/span>El reino<\/i><\/span> (1958), <\/span>Paisano <\/i><\/span>(1964), <\/span>Santiago de Le\u00f3n de Caracas <\/i><\/span>(1967), el <\/span>Vientecito suave del amanecer con los primeros aromas<\/i><\/span> (1969),<\/span> Adi\u00f3s Escuque<\/i><\/span> (1974) y<\/span> Vuelta a casa<\/i><\/span> (2007).<\/span><\/p>\n

En 1974 Palomares recibi\u00f3 el Premio Nacional de Literatura y en 2006 se hizo merecedor del Premio Internacional de Poes\u00eda <\/span>V\u00edctor Valera Mora.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Este poeta de la mano de Adriano Gonz\u00e1lez, Salvador Garmendia, Guillermo Sucre y Francisco P\u00e9rez Perdomo, formaron el movimiento cultural <\/span>Sardio <\/i><\/span>donde se edit\u00f3 la revista hom\u00f3nima entre 1958 y 1961. Junto a este mismo grupo se involucr\u00f3 en el movimiento <\/span>El techo de la ballena. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Fue colaborador en El Farol<\/i><\/span>, <\/span>Papel literario<\/i><\/span>, <\/span>Poes\u00eda de Venezuela<\/i><\/span> y <\/span>Revista Nacional de Cultura. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Como parte de la Campa\u00f1a Nacional de Promoci\u00f3n de Lectura el Centro Nacional del Libro (CENAL) incluy\u00f3 la obra po\u00e9tica de Ram\u00f3n Palomares en su <\/span>serie <\/i><\/span>poes\u00eda para ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

En esta publicaci\u00f3n los poemas de Palomares fueron recopilados por la profesora y escritora Laura Antillano y acompa\u00f1ados de las ilustraciones de la dise\u00f1adora gr\u00e1fica e ilustradora Clementina Cort\u00e9s. <\/span><\/p>\n

El CENAL rinde homenaje a Ram\u00f3n Palomares en este d\u00eda, quien dej\u00f3 este mundo hace dos a\u00f1os, dejando huellas imborrables al igual que su memoria. Esta instituci\u00f3n agradece su valiente labor intelectual y su sensibilidad po\u00e9tica. <\/span><\/p>\n
