As\u00ed tambi\u00e9n en 1998 fue residente del <em>Bellagio Study &amp; Conference Center<\/em> de la Fundaci\u00f3n <em>Rockefeller<\/em> y entre los a\u00f1os 2003 y 2005 fue presidenta de la <em>Asociaci\u00f3n Mundial de Escritores<\/em> (Pen) en Venezuela.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Psic\u00f3logo de profesi\u00f3n, autora tambi\u00e9n de: <em>Vagas Desapariciones <\/em>(1995) <em>Malena de cinco mundos<\/em> (2000), <em>La Favorita del Se\u00f1or<\/em> (2001) <em>El hilo de la voz. Antolog\u00eda cr\u00edtica de escritoras venezolanas del siglo XX<\/em> (2003), <em>El coraz\u00f3n del otro <\/em>(2005) <em>Nocturama<\/em> (2006) , <em>Historias del continente oscuro. Ensayos sobre la condici\u00f3n femenina<\/em> (2007), <em>La fascinaci\u00f3n de la victima<\/em> (2008), y <em>La escribana del tiempo<\/em> (2013).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Su obra ha sido premiada en m\u00faltiples ocasiones, en su pa\u00eds y m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las fronteras: <em>Premio de Cuentos<\/em> del diario del <em>El Nacional <\/em>(1984) <em>Premio de Narrativa<\/em> d<em>el Concejo Municipal del Distrito Federal de Caracas<\/em>, 1991; <em>Premio de Narrativa del Consejo Nacional de la Cultura<\/em>, 1991; <em>Premio de Novela de la I Bienal Mariano Pic\u00f3n-Salas<\/em>, (M\u00e9rida, 1991) <em>Premio Pegasus de Literatura a la mejor novela venezolana de la
